Questions to the chat. The text of the question is sent to the Anthropic API to generate the answer. We do not ask for or store names, email addresses or identity documents. To control abuse, the server records the IP address for up to 10 minutes and keeps a total daily count of questions. Answers to identical questions may be cached on the server, without identifying who asked.

Check a claim. The pasted text is sent to the Anthropic API for checking, in the same way as questions to the chat, and is not published. A screenshot sent without a report QR code goes to the same API only to read its text (already stripped of location and camera data) and is not stored.

Photos of voting machine reports. The submitted photo is reprocessed in the browser and on the server, which erases location and camera data. It goes into a moderation queue and is published (CC-BY license) only after it is approved; rejected photos are not published. To control abuse, we store a code derived from the IP address (salted hash), never the IP itself. If the photo's QR code is not readable, the photo (already without that data) is sent to the Anthropic API only to transcribe the printed fields; this reading stores nothing. The photos and the checks are kept in Cloudflare's file storage (R2).

Cloudflare. The site runs through Cloudflare, which protects it against attacks and abuse. Before you ask the AI, check a claim or send a photo, the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check may analyze signals from the browser; it does not use advertising cookies. Whoever passes receives a technical cookie ("passe") valid for one hour, which does not identify the person.

Visit counts. We count, per day and in aggregate, the pages opened and the use of each feature (questions, checks, comparisons and lookups), without cookies and without storing the IP address. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits the same way, without cookies and without identifying who visited.

Advertising. This site shows Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Directly booked ads are images served by this site: we count impressions and clicks in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying who saw or clicked.

Card support. Card payments are made on Stripe’s page, which receives the card details and the email for the receipt; this site does not see or store that data. We only keep the amount and date of each confirmed contribution, for the cost-covered bar.

Election data. The database contains only results aggregated by electoral section, published by the TSE (Brazil's Superior Electoral Court). There is no data on individual voters. The vote is secret.

Your rights under Brazil's data protection law (LGPD). For questions or requests about personal data, write to the contact listed on this site.

Independence. This analysis is not by the TSE and has no ties to candidates, parties or governments. Advertisers do not influence the content.
