The 2026 voting machine reports, section by section
All 499,000 reports from both rounds of the presidential election, added up and open. Ask the AI, send a photo of the voting machine report or check a claim against the numbers. Without AI: look up your section.
93,000 polling places
Each dot is a school or polling place, at the coordinates published by the TSE. Size by number of valid votes; color by each candidate's share at that place.
Results by state
The tally minute by minute
The order of arrival depends on the time each report was transmitted, and regions arrive at different moments. The change of lead during the count reflects this order; the final result is the sum of all reports.
How many sections in each range
Sections grouped by Lula's share of the votes cast for the two (Flávio's share is the complement). Bars: 2nd round. Line: 1st round, same measure.
1st round × 2nd round
Each dot is a municipality (size by valid votes). Axes: Lula's share of the votes cast for the two, in each round. Above the diagonal, Lula gained share between rounds; below it, Flávio.
Where the 1st-round votes went
Estimate by constrained ecological regression, section by section, within each state (script migracao.py). The vote is secret: no one knows the path of each voter. The model looks for the combination of flows that best reproduces the result of all sections and has uncertainty that this chart does not show.
Closing and transmission of the reports
Brasília time. Closing times come in each section's local time and were converted using the municipality's time zone; without this conversion, AC, AM, MT, MS, RO and RR appear to close earlier.
What can be checked
Expected vs. actual machine: the expected voting machine vs. the machine that generated the report. The 44 cases of a different machine with no record are detailed in the report. Logs: all 2nd-round sections with a published log.
Printed reports sent by the public
Each photo is checked field by field (section, voting machine, load code, times, voters, votes) against the file published by the TSE. Photos go through moderation before they become public.
